GHG Protocol or Greenhouse Gas Protocol is an international accounting tool that helps in calculation and management of emission of green house gases. Launched by the WRI and the WBCSD, the GHG Protocol offers standards for calculating companies, municipal, governmental and other non-industrial entities’ emission levels and developing their plans for reducing these levels.

Product Standard: The Product Life Cycle Accounting and Reporting Standard helps firms to estimate the amount of GHG emissions which corresponds to a certain product during its life cycle.
