French Environmental Cost questions
Request a reporting demoWho is the French Environmental Cost framework for?
It applies to eligible new or remanufactured apparel products placed on the French market. The framework is currently voluntary for brands, manufacturers, importers and other organisations that market these products in France.
Can Carbon Trail declare results directly to the French portal?
Yes. Once your organisation authorises the connection, Carbon Trail can submit validated product records directly through the Environmental Labelling portal API and retain the declaration status alongside the calculation.
What happens when the Ecobalyse methodology changes?
New methodology releases become available in Carbon Trail as they are released. Your team can see the active methodology version, identify affected calculations and manage updates across the collection.
How does product benchmarking work?
Carbon Trail compares a product with the public average for its relevant category and with the average across your selected collection. Both total Points and Points per 100g can be reviewed.
