We’re excited to announce three major product enhancements that make carbon accounting and product footprinting smoother, smarter, and more precise.
Here’s what’s new:
🌍 Inflation-Adjusted Emissions for Spend-Based Data
Let’s say you’re working with 2024 activity data, such as spend on purchased goods, but the best available emission factor is from 2019. Until now, this mismatch could lead to inaccuracies in your GHG accounting.
With our new Inflation Rate Adjustment feature, we automatically apply country-specific inflation rates to align older emission factors with current spend data. Hovering over any adjusted value shows the calculation formula, conversion logic, and inflation details — full transparency, always.
This update significantly improves the accuracy of spend-based carbon accounting, especially when dealing with older datasets.
🔍 Gap Analysis for Incomplete Activity Data
Incomplete data can be a major blocker when preparing Corporate sustainability reports. Our new Gap Analysis tool helps you quickly find and fill those gaps — intelligently.
The platform helps you run a gap analysis for any time interval. The tool automatically highlights missing data and generates smart proxy values to fill those gaps. Each proxy comes with clear context, showing whether it’s extrapolated from earlier months, derived from similar facilities, or adjusted based on surface area and time intervals.
Once you’re satisfied, you can accept the suggested values, and they instantly populate your GHG inventory, complete with full audit trails. This tool is ideal for teams closing out a reporting year with incomplete monthly data.
👟 Product Footprint Simulation Tailored for ESPR Compliance
Product-level sustainability is becoming a regulatory must-have, especially with the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) around the corner. To support you better, we’ve overhauled our Product Footprint Simulator to offer more flexibility and precision.
You can now add and customize components and subcomponents for each product with detailed material mixes, like 50% cotton and 50% polyester for a fabric. You can also tweak manufacturing processes, update GSM values, and more. It’s built to handle everything from simple apparel to complex products like footwear, where detailed component modeling is essential.
With just a few clicks, you can simulate product designs in real-time and instantly see the impact on the product’s footprint — helping you prepare for eco-design requirements and digital product passports.
